I am a mom, grandmother, partner, hiker and lover of the outdoors (retired landscape designer). Perennially curious, explorer of movement, reader, longtime Yogi. I love to laugh loudly!

Both movement and stillness are medicine to me.

I look forward to welcoming those who are new to yoga, as well as seasoned yogis to my classes. Yoga for older adults is my true passion.

Since 2007 I've run a Yoga For Seniors program for a non-profit social services agency. We offer affordable Chair Yoga classes and floor based classes. Teaching, recruiting teachers, and developing curriculum appropriate for the students we serve has been an amazing opportunity for me. We have served hundreds of students each year. My hope is that we can return to the in-person program when it is safe to do so sometime in 2021.

On my Yoga journey I have had the privilege to study with many incredible teachers, including in the Iyengar tradition and the tradition of Krishnamacharya.

I'm certified through the Integrative Yoga for Seniors Professional Training Program at Duke University Integrative Medicine. I'm also a certified iRest© Yoga Nidra Mediation teacher, and completed a Yoga Anatomy program with Leslie Kaminoff, as well as studied Satya yoga movement with Tias Little in Santa Fe. I delight in learning and follow developments in the fields of biomechanics, yoga, pain science, neuroscience and meditation.

I am profoundly grateful to all my teachers, and to my students who are the wisest teachers of all.
